Loree Forest Trail

One of the best kept secrets!

This hike provides a beautiful forest walk and escarpment views of Georgian Bay - it doesn’t get better than that.

You emerge from the forest to the top of ski clubs like Georgian Peaks and Alpine. It’s fun seeing the chairlifts descend over the hill almost to the water’s edge.

Travel along the ridge-lines and across the limestone carved ravines providing a diversity of terrain and views.

*What’s great about this trail is that you can keep extending it across further ski hills like Blue Mountain. Make sure to keep track of the time and remember to keep energy for the walk back.

Pretty River Valley
Provincial Park

This is a great asset in the colder seasons because it is often used by mountain bikers in the summer.

The parking lot is a little inconvenient to access the trail but it is a stunning park once you’re hiking. Enjoy trails that follow babbling creeks and ascend to outstanding views.

Once you’re at the top you can follow the ridge with expansive views of the area and Georgian Bay.
